Local Knowledge. A Lifetime in the Atlantic Rainforest.
Birds Iguazú is a local nature tourism project based in Puerto Iguazú, created from a deep connection with the Atlantic Rainforest. We design private birdwatching, wildlife and nature experiences that combine first-hand local knowledge, environmental interpretation and personalized hospitality.
Meet the People Behind Birds Iguazu

Marcos E. Sosa
Co-founder & CEO
Born in Buenos Aires and adopted by the Atlantic Rainforest of Misiones, Marcos is a Professional Tourism Guide and co-founder of Birds Iguazú. Together with Selva, he develops personalized birdwatching and nature experiences throughout northeastern Argentina.
Trained at the National University of Misiones and the Argentine School of Naturalists of Aves Argentinas, his work combines professional guiding with a lifelong interest in birds, wildlife and the natural environments of the region.
He is officially authorized to guide in Iguazú National Park, Campo San Juan Federal Park and Iberá National Park, allowing Birds Iguazú to connect different landscapes and protected areas through first-hand local knowledge.
Wildlife photography, environmental interpretation and conservation are central to his approach, using each experience as an opportunity not only to observe nature, but to understand it.
